Nanozyme Based on Porphyrinic Metal–Organic Framework for Electrocatalytic CO <sub>2</sub> Reduction

چکیده
Mimicry of natural enzyme systems is an important approach for catalyst design. To create enzyme-inspired catalyst, it essential to mimic both the active center and second coordination sphere. Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), emerging class porous materials, are ideal candidates heterogeneous catalysts because their versatile building blocks confer a high level structural tunability, chemical environment surrounding can be controlled at molecular level. Herein, new 2D porphyrinic MOF, PPF-100, constructed from nonplanar saddle-distorted porphyrin linker Cu paddle-wheel metal node reported. The strategic introduction ethyl substituents allows not only sphere but also increase catalytic selectivity while completely inhibiting H2 generation in CO2 reduction reaction.
